Storeyd Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Storeyd app and website. By accessing or using Storeyd, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, you should not use the Storeyd service.

1. About Storeyd

Storeyd is a voice-to-book platform that allows you to record spoken stories, transform them into written narratives using automated tools, and optionally order printed books.

These Terms apply to:

• The Storeyd mobile application
• The Storeyd website
• Any services provided under the Storeyd brand

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use Storeyd.

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate account information
• Maintaining the security of your account
• All activity that occurs under your account

You must not share your login details with others.

3. Your content and ownership

You retain ownership of all content you provide to Storeyd, including:

• Voice recordings
• Transcriptions
• Written stories
• Photos and other media

By using Storeyd, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to:

• Process your content
• Generate written narratives and book layouts
• Produce printed books at your request
• Provide and improve the Storeyd service

This licence exists only for the purpose of operating Storeyd and does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

4. AI generated content

Storeyd uses automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to transcribe and transform your recordings into written text.

While we aim to preserve accuracy and meaning:

• Generated content may contain errors or omissions
• You are responsible for reviewing content before printing
• Storeyd does not guarantee that generated text will be error-free

Storeyd is not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Storeyd to:

• Upload content you do not have the right to use
• Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
• Upload unlawful, harmful, or abusive material
• Misuse or interfere with the Storeyd platform
• Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit Storeyd systems

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Printed books and orders

Printed books are produced based on the content you approve and submit.

You acknowledge that:

• Printed books are physical, custom products
• Content cannot be changed once printing has begun
• Colours, formatting, and layout may vary slightly from on-screen previews

All print orders are final once submitted, subject to our Refunds & Returns Policy.

7. Payments and pricing

Some features of Storeyd are free to use. You only pay when you choose to order a printed book.

Prices:

• Are displayed at checkout
• May change from time to time
• Are inclusive or exclusive of taxes as stated

Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers.

8. Refunds and cancellations

Refunds, replacements, and cancellations are governed by our Refunds & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Please review that policy carefully before placing a print order.

9. Intellectual property

Storeyd owns all intellectual property related to:

• The Storeyd platform
• App and website design
• Branding, logos, and trademarks

You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of Storeyd without our permission.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Storeyd is provided “as is”
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses

Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid to Storeyd in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using Storeyd at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You breach these Terms
• We are required to do so by law
• Continued access would pose risk to Storeyd or others

Termination does not affect rights or obligations that survive termination.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or website. Continued use of Storeyd after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
