Yes. There's no rigid schedule — record as many or as few stories as you want, whenever you want. Your project doesn't expire, so you can take a year or finish in a single sitting. Record all at once, or across multiple sessions. It's entirely up to you.
Your book will be a high-quality, full-colour printed book (6×9 inches for Life, A4 for Trips). Choose between hardcover or softcover, with glossy or matte finish. Professionally bound on premium paper with your stories, photos, and a customised cover.
Yes! Add as many photos as you like. They'll be paired with your stories in the final book. You can also add captions and reorder everything before printing. Photos are printed in full colour on premium paper.
Each book can be up to 200 pages. If you have more content, we can split it into multiple volumes. Most people find 60–120 pages is the sweet spot for a beautiful keepsake book.
Once you're happy with your stories and photos, preview your book in the app. Rearrange chapters with drag and drop, choose your cover design and title, then tap print. We handle the rest — your book is printed and delivered to your door.
Yes, order as many copies as you need at checkout. Many people order extra copies to gift to siblings, children, and other family members so everyone has their own keepsake.
Yes. Everything you create is private by default. Your stories, recordings, and photos are not visible to anyone else unless you choose to share them. All data is encrypted and stored securely. We never sell or license your personal content.
No. Your personal content is never used to train AI models or for any purpose outside of creating your book. Your stories remain yours and are only used to produce the book you requested. We don't feed your stories into any public datasets.
You do. You maintain full ownership and copyright of all stories, recordings, and photos you create. Storeyd does not claim ownership of your content. You can download your content anytime. Your story is yours — we just help you put it into a book.
Yes. Review and edit any story in the app at any time before printing. Fix names or details, add more to the story, or re-record entirely. Nothing is locked until you finalise your book. Filler words like "um" and "uh" are automatically cleaned up.
Just talk! Storeyd is built for voice-first storytelling. Tap record and speak naturally, as if you're telling the story to a friend. The app transcribes everything automatically. You can make small edits afterwards if you want, but no typing is required.
Yes! Storeyd makes a meaningful gift. You can purchase a gift code for someone to create their own book, or you can record stories together and surprise them with the finished printed book.

Yes. We print locally where possible — with facilities in the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, and more — and ship worldwide. Your book is routed to the nearest print facility for faster, more affordable delivery.
Economy shipping takes 2–3 weeks, standard takes 7–10 business days, and express is 3–5 business days. Times vary by location. The app shows estimated delivery dates at checkout so you can plan ahead.
Shipping cost depends on your location, book quantity, and delivery speed. Economy is the most affordable option, express is the fastest. Exact costs are calculated and shown at checkout before you confirm, so there are no surprises.
You can place separate orders for different addresses, or order multiple copies to a single address and distribute them yourself. Either way, we make it easy to get books to everyone who needs one.
